Here we provide answers to all the questions that visitors to LOPEC ask us most often: about tickets, registration, and the customer profile. We hope they will help you, too.

Registration and Ordering

Where can I buy a visitor ticket?

You can buy your visitor ticket on our "Tickets & Prices" page for the trade fair and on our "Tickets & Prices" page for conference participants.

How much are the ticket prices and what types of tickets are available?

Here you will find the ticket types and prices for the conference and the trade fair.

What services are included in the respective tickets?

The trade fair visitor ticket includes access to the exhibition hall and the foyer with the LOPEC Forum, the Poster Session and all service areas. No catering is included in the price. Food can be purchased on site at the Lounge & Café stations.

The congress ticket includes access to the congress, congress catering and access to the trade fair during opening hours on the days of validity. After the event, all congress visitors will receive access data to the electronic conference proceedings.

Are there also discounted tickets for students?

Yes, there is an attractive and inexpensive 3-day student ticket for the congress. For this, a certificate of enrolment must be uploaded in the ticket shop.

What are the advantages of buying my trade fair ticket online or redeeming my voucher online?

  • Ticket purchase and redemption of ticket vouchers via smartphone.
  • Register quickly and easily via Social Login.
  • You will receive your ticket directly by e-mail as a Mobile Ticket and Print@home Ticket.
  • Minimise your waiting time.
  • You get a price advantage when you buy an online ticket.
  • Pay conveniently by credit card, Giropay or Paypal.
  • You can view your orders at any time and, if necessary, print out your Print@home ticket again (e.g. if the first printout is illegible).
  • You can change your personal data if you have made a mistake when entering it.
  • You can print out a receipt / invoice.
  • An online voucher / online voucher number can be redeemed online. You will then be automatically redirected to the ticket ordering portal where you can redeem your voucher for a free Print@home ticket and Mobile Ticket.

  • Four ticket types are only available online: 1-day congress ticket, presenter ticket, academic ticket, student ticket available.

Why do I have to register and enter my email address to buy an online ticket or redeem a voucher online?

  • To ensure a comprehensive service and security standards when ordering and using an online ticket, the tickets are personalised and registration is necessary.
  • We strive to design and develop the event according to your wishes and interests. By answering the registration questions, we can tailor the event even more closely to your needs.
  • Your personal e-mail address is required because the Print@home Ticket and the Mobile Ticket as well as your customer login will be sent to you by e-mail.
  • Your ticket will only be sent to the e-mail address you entered during registration.

What do I need if I want to buy my ticket online or redeem a voucher online and what documents do I need to present at the admission control?

  • An up-to-date internet browser
  • A valid e-mail address so that the Print@home ticket can be sent to you.
  • An Adobe PDF reader to view the online ticket.
  • A valid credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) for payment or a German bank account to use Giropay, Paypal, a paper voucher or an online voucher number for redemption.
  • A printer, as the turnstiles can only be passed with the printed Print@home Ticket.
  • The Print@home Ticket is only valid in conjunction with an official photo ID. Upon request, the official photo ID must be presented to the staff at the entrance control.

Where and for how long can online tickets be ordered?

Online tickets can be ordered here. Please note our instructions here, which will guide you step-by-step through our ticket ordering process. Please pay by credit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express), Giropay or Paypal. Online registration is available before and during the fair.

Can I withdraw from a ticket purchase or cancel my ticket?

Bitte beachten Sie, dass bei der LOPEC vom Ticketkauf grundsätzlich nicht zurückgetreten werden kann und Tickets nicht storniert werden können. Lesen Sie hierzu die General Terms and Conditions of Messe München, die in der Buchung zugänglich sind, hinsichtlich der Besonderheiten.

Can I buy online tickets for other people or redeem vouchers for other people?

No, due to data protection regulations, each orderer must buy their ticket or redeem their voucher themselves.

How do I receive my ticket?

Once your ticket order has been successfully completed, you will receive your ordered ticket by e-mail within 24 hours as a Print@home Ticket and Mobile Ticket. Please print out the Print@home ticket, fold it according to the instructions and carry it with you on all booked event days. Or have your Mobile Ticket ready on your smartphone or tablet; both types of ticket entitle you to direct access to the event. This is done by scanning the individual barcodes.

What can I do if I have not received an e-mail with a Print@home Ticket and Mobile Ticket?

I In rare cases, e-mails end up in the spam filter of your mailbox. Please check your spam box or contact your administrator.

You may have entered your e-mail address incorrectly when entering your customer data. In this case, please contact the LOPEC Ticket Service at: registrierung@messe-muenchen.de

Is my ticket transferable?

  • No, tickets with personal data (e.g. with your name) are generally not transferable.
  • Important: As online tickets are personal and non-transferable, an official photo ID must be presented at an on-site check.
  • Any barcode that has already been cancelled will be recognised as such at the electronic admission control and the ticket holder of a copied or duplicated online ticket will be denied admission.

Can I show the ticket with my smartphone or tablet and enter the fair?

Ja, die Lesegeräte erkennen den Barcode, der auf Ihrem Ticket abgebildet ist und Sie können das Ticket als Mobile Ticket verwenden.

On which days can I visit the fair with my ticket / multi-day ticket?

  • With a valid ticket, you are free to choose the day(s) of your visit to the fair at the time of the fair.
  • A multi-day ticket does not have to be used on consecutive days.
  • If, in exceptional cases, the ticket is only valid on certain days of the fair, the days on which your ticket is valid are explicitly printed on your ticket.

Customer profile

As a trade fair visitor, where can I find my Messe München customer profile?

You will receive the link to your customer profile in the e-mail in which your access link is sent.

Please activate your customer profile using the login and password provided.

In the customer profile you can enter a change of address or download and print tickets and invoices.

Why should I activate my Messe München customer profile?

  • Your customer profile contains all the tickets that you have bought or redeemed so that you can download them and print them out.
  • Your receipts/invoices for any purchased tickets are also available in your customer profile for you to print out.
  • You can also check and change your personal details.

Payment

What payment options are available when booking a ticket online?

Tickets are only be purchased online and paid for by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), Giropay or Paypal. You can print out a receipt/invoice.

How will I receive my invoice for tickets purchased?

The invoice for your online ticket purchase will be sent to you through the mail. You can also view and print out your invoices for trade fair tickets in your customer profile once you have activated it.
