Thank you for your interest in submitting a contribution to the LOPEC Conference 2027.
The submission deadline for the Business Conference, Technical Conference, and Scientific Conference has now passed.
However, you still have the opportunity to submit a late poster.
A poster presentation offers you the opportunity to present your work to an international audience of experts, engage directly with participants, and discuss your results in person during the Poster Session. You will receive valuable feedback and establish new contacts in industry and academia.
Late Poster
Late posters may be submitted until January 8, 2027. Please note:
- Late posters will be presented in a separate section of the Poster Exhibition.
- Presenters of accepted late posters are required to be present at their poster during the Poster Session on March 3, 2027, from 16:30 to 18:30 to discuss their work with attendees.
- Late posters will not be published in the online conference program or in the conference app.
- Participation as a late poster presenter requires a Presenter Ticket (EUR 607.00) or, for student presenters, a Student Presenter Ticket (EUR 304.00). Eligibility for the Student Presenter Ticket is subject to the presentation of valid proof of student status.
- Submitting a late poster does not guarantee automatic acceptance for the Poster Exhibition.
Starting January 18, 2027, you will be notified whether your late poster has been accepted.
4 steps to your participation in the LOPEC Conference
1. Submit your abstract: August 11 to October 2, 2026
Please submit your English-language abstract online by October 2, 2026. The abstract should describe your planned presentation and should not exceed 3,000 characters, including spaces. It does not have to correspond to the final presentation. Include an explanation of your motivation, approach, expected or achieved results, and conclusion. You may also include a graphic, image, or schematic representation.
2. Selection process: October 3 to November 23, 2026
Starting October 3, 2026, a panel of international experts will review all abstracts submitted and evaluate their thematic and technical content. The committee will then put together a coherent program of presentations from the submissions.
3. Confirmation of participation: as from November 23, 2026
You will be notified starting on November 23, 2026, whether your submission has been selected for an oral or poster presentation.
4. Presenter ticket at the discounted rate
Confirmation of a lecture or poster presentation qualifies you for a Presenter Ticket, which is a reduced-price conference ticket. Participation as a speaker or poster presenter requires a Presenter Ticket. The Presenter Ticket entitles you to attend the entire conference and the associated exhibition.
